Crockpot Chilli

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Heat cooking oil in 1 quart skillet.
  • Saute onions and peppers for 10 minutes.
  • Add spices and stir for 15 seconds.
  • Add meat and cook until browned. Approximately 7.5 minutes.
  • Pour contents of skillet into 1.5 quart crock pot.
  • Rinse beans and place in crockpot.
  • Open and pour Tomato puree and sauce into crock pot.
  • Cover crockpot and cook on low for 3 hours.
  • Serve into individual bowls and top with sour cream and cheese.

Instructions:

  • Saute onions and peppers for 5 minutes.
  • Add spices and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add meat and cook until browned. Approximately 15 minutes.
  • Pour contents of skillet into 3 quart crock pot.
  • Rinse beans and place in crockpot.
  • Open and pour Tomato puree and sauce into crock pot.
  • Cover crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Serve into individual bowls and top with sour cream and cheese.

Instructions:

  • Add spices and stir for 60 seconds.
  • Add meat and cook until browned. Approximately 30 minutes.
  • Pour contents of skillet into 6 quart crock pot.
  • Rinse beans and place in crockpot.
  • Open and pour Tomato puree and sauce into crock pot.
  • Cover crockpot and cook on low for 12 hours.
  • Serve into individual bowls and top with sour cream and cheese.

ButterScotch Pie

  • In top of double boiler, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture starts to thicken, about 10 minutes.
  • Whisk in egg yolks; continue to cook and stir until filling is thickened.
  • While pudding mixture is cooking, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Remove filling from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Pour filling into prepared pie crust. Bake in preheated oven until top begins to brown, about 2.5 minutes.

Baked Macaroni

Ingredients:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 1-quart baking dish.
  • In a large pot of salted water, lightly boil the macaroni for about 2.5 minutes until half-cooked.
  • Whisk the egg and milk together in a large cup. Add butter and cheese to the egg and milk. Stir well.
  • Place the lightly cooked macaroni in the prepared baking dish. Pour the egg and cheese liquid over the macaroni, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and stir well. Press the mixture evenly around the baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the top is brown.
